Jazz (Paper Orchid)

Paper Orchid is an indie folk-pop artist from Altona, fronted by local pianist and producer, Jasmin Boehme. Paper Orchid is currently working on producing their first album 'Rekindling', at Soundstep Studios, hoping to release in late 2026!

Callum Cheah (they/them) is an award-winning sound designer, composer, writer and ambient music creator from Melbourne, Australia. Callum's award-winning designs have toured festivals globally, such as "Altar" (OFFIE Award Winner, Edinburgh Fringe, MIDSUMMA), "Asynchrony" (2022 Adelaide Fringe Weekly Best Film, Digital & Interactive Work, Melbourne Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe) and “A Recorded Companion” (Access & Inclusion Award, 2020 Melbourne Fringe Festival). They have also worked with Barking Spider Creative as assistant sound designer/facilitator on ‘Kids Country’ (2022), Facilitator on ‘Wood Wide Web ‘(2022) and as the Head Sound Designer on ‘Old Light, New Lens’ (2023). Most importantly though, they love making little bleeps and bloops on the ‘too many’ synthesizers they own.

Elijah Cristiano is a multidisciplinary artist living and creating on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). Spanning photography, videography and sound art, Elijah engages with notions of place, positionality and relationships between humans and environments. Elijah graduated from a Master of Photography at RMIT University, and was awarded the NAVA Ignition Award for Highest Performing in Professional Practice, the Brunswick Print Lab Prize, Vice-Chancellor’s List for Academic Excellence Award and the RMIT Galleries Graduate Residency. He has exhibited and performed works both locally and internationally, most recently at the Pingyao International Festival of Photography in China and Gasworks Creative Precinct in Naarm.

TAXI

TAXI! is an emerging local artist and musician. Though their visual art has been exhibited as part of Midsumma Westside (Stand Out, 2025) and Melbourne Fringe Festival (Resonate - Wunder Gym 2025), their music has yet to escape the confines of their bedroom.

Self-described as 'synthpop on a budget', TAXI! combines free soundfonts, layered vocals and the occasional keytar to form their sound. Their instrumentals draw inspiration from new wave, dream pop and video game soundtracks, and their lyrics are formed using a combination of old notes and nonsensical phrases.
